A pelvic floor physical therapist is a physical therapist who takes extra training and education to work with pelvic floor dysfunction. A pelvic floor PT is one who treats dysfunctions based on problems with pooping, peeing, sex, pregnancy, or postpartum problems. Pelvic floor PT can address men and women.

In-person sessions: Expect to spend an hour and a half with your therapist to complete the entire evaluation. Wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in, you will most likely be asked to perform tasks such as squatting, moving, or even lifting. If it is determined necessary, you may have an internal vaginal or rectal exam (with your consent) and this involves the therapist's fingers and lubrication. The musculature throughout the pelvic floor will be assessed. This can possibly contribute to some soreness. If you have questions or concerns about your first visit or the internal examination please speak with your doctor prior to your appointment.

Virtual Sessions: make sure you have wifi and internet connections. You will perform movements, but you will not need to show your genitals on the video. This will not be recorded unless you have requested.

The HOPE Doctors is a "fee for service" provider, meaning we do not go through insurance companies. This allows us to offer you the most value for your treatments.

There is a possibility you could potentially be reimbursed for your out-of-network contributions and if you wish to try, request a superbill be sent to you following your visit so you can submit it to your insurance company. Your therapist will help you with this.

Yes! We can provide you with a superbill after your session to submit to your insurance provider.

We recommend you contact your insurance provider and ask if they have out of network benefits for physical therapy.

You may want to consider asking these questions:

• Do I have out of network benefits?

• Will these out of network benefits cover physical therapy?

• Do I have a deductible for out of network benefits?

• Once I meet my deductible, what amount of care will be reimbursed?

• What forms will I need to have and/or fill out to request reimbursement?

• How do I submit these forms to you to request reimbursement?

• Is there any other requirement I need (like a referral or W9) for requesting reimbursement?

You can ask your Doctor for more information, however The HOPE Doctors are out of network and cannot be in contact with your insurance provider for you.

For your first thorough, 90 minute, initial consultation: $350

Follow up sessions: $300

30 Minute Cupping/Corrective (established clients only): $175

Prolapse Assessment with Pessary Fit/Trial: $525 (covers ordering the correct size if needed)

Pessary Fit & Trial: $175

For in-home first session: $375 (if long distance - $425)

Mobile follow up sessions: $325 (if long distance $375)

For virtual/telehealth evaluation: $325

Virtual follow up: $275
